Getting Started

Do I need to create an account to use the app?

No! Bible Trainer Advanced works in guest mode without any sign-in required. Your progress is saved locally on your device. Creating an account is optional and allows you to sync your progress across multiple devices.

How do I start memorizing verses?

Simply select a verse set from the home screen and tap “Start.” The app will guide you through fill-in-the-blank challenges to help you memorize each verse progressively.

What Bible translations are available?

Bible Trainer Advanced supports multiple translations including KJV, NIV, ESV, and more. You can change your preferred translation in the app settings.

Progress & Achievements

How do I earn badges?

There are two types of badges: Scroll badges are earned by completing entire verse sets, and Seed badges are earned by mastering individual verses through all difficulty tiers (Sprout, Vine, Branch, Tree, Oak, Cedar).

How do daily streaks work?

Your streak increases each day you practice at least one verse. Streaks reset at midnight if you miss a day. Reach milestones like 7, 30, and 100 days to earn special Light Bearer achievements!

Will I lose my progress if I delete the app?

If you're signed in with Google, your progress is backed up to the cloud and will restore when you reinstall. Guest users should sign in before deleting to preserve their progress.

Premium & Purchases

What's included in Premium?

Premium unlocks access to all 36+ verse sets covering various topics like Faith, Love, Prayer, Wisdom, and more. Free users have access to a selection of starter sets.

What's the difference between Lifetime and Yearly?

Lifetime is a one-time purchase that gives you permanent access to all content forever. Yearly is a subscription that renews annually at a lower upfront cost.

How do I restore my purchase on a new device?

Go to the Premium/Upgrade screen and tap “Restore Purchases.” Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID or Google Play account that was used for the original purchase.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through your device's app store:

  • iOS: Settings > Your Name > Subscriptions
  • Android: Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions

I was charged but Premium isn't working

First, try the “Restore Purchases” button. If that doesn't work, please contact us at [email protected] with your purchase receipt and we'll resolve it promptly.

Account & Sync

How do I sync my progress across devices?

Sign in with your Google account on each device. Your progress will automatically sync when connected to the internet.

Can I link my guest progress to an account?

Yes! When you sign in, your guest progress will be merged with your account. This preserves all your badges, streaks, and verse mastery.

How do I delete my account and data?

Contact us at [email protected] with your request. We'll process account deletion within 30 days as required by privacy regulations.

Troubleshooting

The app is running slowly or crashing

Try these steps:

  1. Close and restart the app
  2. Restart your device
  3. Make sure you have the latest version installed
  4. Check for available device storage space

I can't sign in with Google

Ensure you have a stable internet connection and that your Google account is active. If issues persist, try signing out of your Google account in device settings and signing back in.

My progress isn't syncing

Check your internet connection and make sure you're signed in. Progress syncs automatically but may take a moment. If issues persist, try signing out and back in.
